Mirrored object prints poorly?

This is a strange one. The two halves were printed at the same time, the one on the left of picture is the original model and the right one is mirrored in Bambu Studio 1.10.1.50

Two P1S produced the same result after calibration too. I also exported the mirrored object as STL and checked it in Blender for any anomaly in the mesh, and there was none. Something happened when Bambu Studio mirrored it.

Any idea how to get around it?

Not too many fully working ideas how to get around it.
But…
It comes down to layer time, pressure advance and acceleration.
Sadly the Bambu slicer only shows the MAX speed for a layer line but not the often plentyful speed changes.

I get (near) perfect prints after a proper calibration but those protruding layers or layers that seem a bit out of place are often still slightly visible.
Maybe my approach helps you to find the best settings >

Cut just those problematic layers of the model out.
Like 4mm below and above included.
As the layer times should be the same as for the full print you should see the same defects.
Assuming your k-factor is spot on, continue by lowering the acceleration values - similar to those high quality profiles with lower layer heights.
If that fixes the issue just try how high you can go with the values before things turn ugly again.
With the Bambu- and some aftermarket hotends your limiting factor is THE hotend.
A high flow one is not just good for speed, despite this being the reason why people buy them.
Their best property is the consistency thanks to being far less restrictive.
This results in overall lower pressures in the melting chamber and less prominent pressure changes.
I can print standard PLA with 500mm/s if need be and except for smaller details and overhangs the print is still fine.
So I now just use the standard profiles with little changes and just have the max flow rate at 40…

Thanks for the suggestion of print only the troubled area. After messing around on P1P, P1S and A1min, the culprit is most likely the print direction. Unfortunately, there is no such feature in Bambu Studio. Orca Slicer’s Reverse on Even helps a bit.
