Ok, I did what you suggested but it didn’t seem to fix the problem:
There are a lot of (1497) manifold issues with this STL.
If you click “Repair” on the Error notification Bambu Studio will attempt to repair the model via Windows 3d Builder. The other option is to right click and select “Fix model”. It took my computer a good 5 minutes to attempt to repair all the issues.
In the end, it still slices with a floor and infill. So try fixing the model in Blender?
Yes, seems the repair feature doesn’t target the issues I’m having. I’m not sure what part of the model needs fixing in Blender. When I view it, it looks fine so I’m not sure what areas to target to fix
I made a version with a longer base that I’ll print for now, it should fit over what I need it to.
I think the problem might be with the inner semi-sphere not registering with the software, but I don’t know how I would fix that.
Let me explain better what I’m trying to do here. The model is meant to go on the outside of this disk: (4.75 inch diameter)
The model, with it’s thickness, has outside walls totaling 6 millimeters in thickness, reaching a total width of 121.412 millimeters (4.78 inches)
Here are pictures of a test model I made:
