Guys, Bambu has replied in the Reddit post:
I guess the problem’s mostly solved right now, and I think it probably doesn’t have a lot to do with Pop Mart.
Of course, I still suspect that this has something to do with Pop Mart, even though not a lot. I’m not ruling out the possibility that it’s just Bambu Lab trying not to start something big and reporting it as an operational error.
Hi @Alexandru_Serban, thank you very much for your feedback.
After looking into this with the relevant team, we’ve learned that some models were accidentally delisted due to an operational error on MakerWorld. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
We’d also like to let everyone know that most of the affected models have now been restored. If your model is still missing, please submit a support ticket so our team can help resolve it for you as quickly as possible.
Please click here for the guide for creating a ticket on MakerWorld via the MakerWorld website and Bambu Handy.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding!
It is also a fake website, probably created using ChatGPT, and the account is presumably being used for the same purpose. To avoid drawing any further attention to this fake website, it would be a good idea to remove the link from your comment. ![]()
Some people or bots are apparently exploiting this to spread false reports and generate attention.
My model has been restored, I hope for all of you guys the same. This thread and all of your experience with this problem helped to solve the problem
just my 5 cent, PopMart was targeting models that were using the word “La****” or showing the toy itself in the picture and you guys were collateral damage.
Mine is also back online aswell.
but weirdly no system message or anything.
Massive lack of communication and information in my opinion.
First of all een IP message, but not stating what model has been effected.
No IP report to be found. (that might be explained by a backend issue)
Not being able to apeal through the standard procedures they offer (or perhaps dont offer in this situation)
restoring it but no message what so ever about the restore it self.
Or any information what so ever…
I hope that atleast some one of makerworld / Bambu would reply in this topic about this issue.
IS THERE A WAY TO ADAMADICLY take down nsfw 4 the ppl who post models and don’t press the nsfw button when uploading a model i all ready have the filter but its not enough i think if they upload a model and has nsfw maker world should band the file are the user
It’s still the weekend after chinese new year - They still fixed it over the weekend, and people complain about poor communication.
At least give it until monday when the full team is back at work.
Another message of the same. I dont even have a model with the red taken down text in my profile so i have no idea what it was filed against. I tried to send an email to the customer support email and it replied with a link. I can’t post the link because i just made this account… It was direct to mandrillapp . com with a makerworld redirect and token.
I dont know if thats any different than where the red text appeal link would go but it may be that Mandrill got overloaded with tickets due to what it seems is a boat load of us opening appeals at the same time.
I have heard the word…never used it in real life nor made anything even slightly related.
Same, I got the message but I’m not showing any of my models have been taken down so I’m a bit confused.
Same situation: got the message and I can’t find what was taken down. And nothing I upload is anywhere related to POP MART/Labubu.
Just checked it and in my case the models have been restored before I got a reply to my support ticket. So the MakerWorld / Bambu Team seems to actively work on it.
It might be good if people check their models again and mark the support tickets as solved / closed if they got re-listed.
Especially now during the Chinese New Year, to reduce the overhead for their support team and reduce the waiting time for the people who still have unsolved issues.
Good idea!
Looking at all the others impacted by similar issues this is egregious. Pop Mart and Bambu need to get their ■■■■ in order or face a defamation suit, and likely a class action. Anyone who is impacted should be appealing these decisions and deserves to know more about the unfounded claims made against them.
There’s no need to stir up the topic unnecessarily. Is it annoying? Yes. However those affected received help within one to two days. Due to a lack of information, we don’t even know if it was Pop Mart or a system failure.
Class action lawsuit? What damage have you suffered over the past day? Work out how much that is, and then calculate what a lawsuit would cost. If you win, you can get your two dollars back, but you’ll have to pay a thousand dollars in court costs yourself. ![]()
There is an old saying: “Don’t wake the sleeping lion” - especially if he is the one who gives you points and money.
omg yes I cannot search up any popmart items anymore its so dumb smh
I got the same message today:
Dear User,
We have received a intellectual property infringement complaint from the rights holder POP MART regarding the model you uploaded. In accordance with our applicable intellectual property policies and relevant rules, the model has been taken down.
If you believe this action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal and we will review and verify the case.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
But I can’t find any model with the staus “taken down” or so when I look at my models.
Neither do I know which model (by status) nor do I have any idea which model can be ment, since all my models are built (designed in fusion) from scratch.
Since I don’t know the model I can also not “submit an appeal”.
How do I find the model / submit an appeal?
