Models are not sliced for the bambu lab a1 (even though they are)

i just tried printing one of the models that came included with the printer on the sd card.

i started up bambu studio. went to my device. to sd card. to models. and then selected a model to print from.
i then got the message that it couldn’t be sent to my printer because it was not sliced for a bambu lab A1.
but i know i have printed one of these models before (the scraper)

so i walked over to the machine. selected models. and tried to start printing one. and it printed just fine.

so why is bambu studio telling me the files wasn’t designed for my type of printer even though it actually is?

My guess is that the files on the printer were sliced before Bambu Studio checked which printer a file was sliced for and so it throws this compatible error. They were probably sliced before the printer was released.

I have a similar issue with Bambu Studio when I try to upload a print profile and this forum that I cant even ask a question in is awful. Yes this is a pain in the ass. I cant get a print profile on my new A1 with AMS lite using Bambu Studio, it returns an error when I try to print a Bambu Lab created and sliced file posting something like “this gcode file contains no geometry” and I cant find a topic or even post a question. I may be returning my A1 as its useless if you can not even get help or ask a question and support NEVER ANSWERS ANY QUESTION I POST.

without seeing exactly what you do people can’t see where it’s going wrong. and thus can’t answer.

also have you tried making a support ticket? they will ask for logs and when supplied they are able to answer most questions you have.

in any case. where did this model come from that you are trying to print?
or where did these profiles come from?

are you directly importing from makersworld or manually downloading this somewhere else?

are you trying to load a 3mf file? (this is the correct file type)
an STL is geometry data without print settings.
a print profile is print settings without a 3d model.
and a 3MF file is both combined.
