Modifiers not working

Has anyone had success using modifier cubes or similar? I can add and place the cube and make unique selections for the cube, but the changes are not present when I slice. Any tips?

Followed these directions?

I have not tried it yet. Later today I will sample one.

What specifically are you trying to do?

I’ve done this without problems.

I have done it as well. No problems

Change your setting choices from ā€œGlobalā€ to ā€œObjectā€ select your modifier shape, then you can adjust the settings for that individual piece/shape.

I am not having any luck yet. I will try with smaller objects. Thanks!

Post all the steps you are doing. Might be missing something simple.

Start with you have a given .3mf or .stl file on the build plate and right click ā€œAdd Modifierā€

Example -

Right Click Add Modifier / Cube
Left pane select ā€œObjectsā€ form the process menu
Build Plate Left Click modifier and position where it needs to be and size
Left pane locate object from object list to verify it is selected.
Left pane select Strength / Wall loops / 4
Blah, blah, blah

I’ve used modifiers in Prusa Slicer for years, and they work great. I’ve been trying to use a ā€˜support inhibitor’ modifier in Bambu Studio, and for some reason they’re not working. What I’m trying to do is set up a cylinder that runs through a hole that runs horizontally through a part, so there’s no support generated in the hole, and the modifier looks right but the support is still generated there, which is quite odd. I’m starting to wonder if Bambu Studio somehow introduced some bugs into the modifier capability in Prusa Slicer?
