Most filament colors are currently sold out

I currently urgently need blue for a project, but the shop seems to be sold out after Black Friday. When will there finally be replenishment?

The EU Store is completely empty … looks like they’ll probably be restocking mid January, which kinda sucks, since I don’t get to use my membership discount.

Extremely frustrated here. I’m about to lose my 8 roll membership discount this month because the filament I need to continue the project I started, white ivory PLA matte, is out of stock. I was going to buy 8 rolls before the end of the month and then discovered that it’s out of stock, along with most of the others, and then buy 8 more rolls in January.

I was planning on use Bambu filaments for my business, but had to switch to 3rd party filaments on Amazon due to Bambu filament supply issue. Supply chain issue can kill a business.

Elegoo’s regular price on Amazon is about the same as Bambu membership price. I just ordered a couple of high speed matte PLA from Amazon today, let’s see how they look compare to Bambu.

I think the A1 and A1 mini coming out have a lot to do with that. It makes sense to buy them with the AMS lite, and then you’ll want at lease 4 rolls of filament.

May even be partly because of people printing Christmas presents. I know I printed a few.

Just poor planning, of course. With the holiday season coming up and releasing 2 brand new printers, this was very predictable.

And indeed not able to buy filament is making the membership thing a joke, they won’t even extend the membership with an extra month…

Some colors are available again - red for example!

I need some of the matte colors, which I now have to buy as a refill, unfortunately I only have one empty spool, which means I have to print it for the other refill spools now.

However, I really urgently need the Basic Bamboo Green now and that doesn’t exist at all.

Does anyone know if there is better availability in the business shop?

You can print your own reusable spool from Bambu official STL Bambu reusable spool | Bambu Lab Wiki or the endless selections from Printables.

I’m new to Bambu and don’t know if current Bambu filaments supply issue is due to the holiday sales of printers or it has always been in short supply. In any case, it’s the reason I went with Elegoo from Amazon as my main supplier. Unreliable suppliers will kill your business.

Elegoo’s Rapid PETG & Matte PLA print as fast and produce as good result as Bambu filaments. The cardboard spools work well with AMS, I tape cardboard edge with painter tape to prevent cardboard debris entering AMS tubes as it’s the main reason Bambu does not recommend using cardboard spool in AMS.

Interesting note here, I had to cancel an order of Bambu filaments minutes after placing the order due to wrong shipping address from Google Pay. Filament membership credits used in cancel order can’t be credited back per Bambu policy, interesting business decision.
