Mostly vertical walls needing supports

I am printing an object with tall, thin (2mm thick), flat (10mm wide) twisting vertical walls (actually about 15 deg off vertical). As there is always some warpage I tried painting support contact areas 1/2 way up the wall. Problem is the supports stop just prior to the walls and never touch them (as there is no horizontal piece of the object walls to connect the support to the object)). As the walls are “shakey” they eventually hit the nozzle and end up being destroyed. Is there a work around for this to make the walls more stable? I tried printing with 4 wall loops but still had the walls eventually collapse due to contact with the print head.

Walls end up being at about a 15 deg angle off vertical.

Tree supports with a small Support/Object xy distance can stabilize even completely vertical surfaces. I’ve used values as small as 0.1 mm to hold tall thin models in place without scarring the model, but you may need to experiment a little. Usually supports are needed on opposing sides to hold the part steady.
