Moving the X1-Carbon+AMS to another place

I’m very happy with the X1-Carbon, it works perfectly.
However, I would need to move the printer to another place (like 200m away).
Is there any specific recommendation ?
I mean, the printer came with a lot of screws to avoid transport damage, that’s why I’m asking.

The packing and screws were for initial transport which is not gentle. You can put this in the back of your car, preferably upright and go. Me, I’d put it in the cab and put the seat belt over it.

But other then that, if you do not use excessive force during transport, it should not be a problem. Screws etc are there cause packages aren’t handled any gently.

But do a new calibration run after moving.

I was about to open a similar topic because I’m about to move as well (a few km, though).
Did you already move? Do you have any recommendations?

I saved the shipping screws and plan to reinstall them if I move to a different location. May not be necessary but can’t hurt.

Recalibrate if you move the printer anywhere, even the other side of the room.
