Multi-Colour Print Fails Between Creation and Slicing

Hello All. I have been trying to create a wall sign using two different colours on my PS1 and the AMS. This is using the latest version of Bambu Slicer and PETG filament.

When I design and load my sign into Bambu Slicer I can see all the wording and the way I have painted the print shows as I expected. But as soon as I slice the print all the wording disappears and just see the base of the sign and what seems to be seam lines in place of the lettering.

I have tried raising the lettering to make sure it’s not a “too small” issue. The lettering currently sits just above 1mm on the back of the sign.

I’m not really too sure what’s going on here and could do with a little help please?

Before Slicing

After Slicing

Try making ur letters thicker.

@user_2458655656 Thanks for the suggestion. I tried resizing the lettering but got the same result. I have been able to download other people’s signs and print just fine, in the past. But this one just fails to print. I tested adding lettering to the base from inside Bambu Slicer and that seems to be acceptable. But I have to recreate what I had already created and Bambu Slicer doesn’t seem to be as flexible with how it handles text. Formatting of paragraphs is limited.

strange… i used makemysign once, it was too thin, so i scaled up the whole sign and it worked. worth trying. also, what settings did u adjust

I adjusted height, segments and font type.

That is really thin lettering.

You may have a chance using a .2 nozzle and the “Arachne” wall generator (Quality settings). You may also want to try a bold font.

seams like its only adding seams , no colour to the lettering ,
also this

it may be better on the face , assuming thats not a typo

@Neiljt You are right, I was not clear in this statement. The lettering raises a little over 1mm above the face of the sign.

Its also missing the inner/outer circle of the initial design ?

Use a larger font. Or a smaller nozzle. The problem is not the z height of the letters. The lines that form the letters are thinner in the xy direction than your nozzle can print, so they are eliminated.
