How long does it usually take for Bambu Lab to reply to a support ticket? I haven’t received any response in two days so far. What would you recommend doing in the meantime? I’m hesitant to try fixing things myself because every time I address one error, three more seem to appear. At the same time, I’m already badly behind on my printing schedule and can’t afford further delays.
Errors I encountered:
The Nozzle Camera is not in place; please check the hardware connection.
The ToolHead Camera is not in place; please check the hardware connection.
Unable to read data from the right extruder force sensor; there may be a communication break or sensor damage.
Unable to read data from the left extruder force sensor; there may be a communication break or sensor damage.
Auto Bed leveling failed; the task has been stopped.
The TH board disconnected during the extruder switching process. Please check if the connecting cable is loose.
Thanks, guys. I’ve already started disassembling the toolhead, so I’ll try checking the USB cable next. Does anyone have experience with how Bambu handles these cases? If it takes them a week to respond, then we do some troubleshooting, then they send a new part, I replace it and it turns out that wasn’t the issue, and they need to send a different part… the printer could be down for a month.
-I thought it was the PSU fan, I submitted a support ticket 2200 on Friday week before last.
-Received a response Monday morning asking me to make sure it was the PSU fan
-I did more diagnostic
-Figured out it was the hotend fan, contacted support about it Wednesday last week and provided my address
-Replacement hotend fan was in the mail on the way to me by Friday, and is due to be here today.
I have heard horror stories about support, but mine was 10/10.
Support are just “The man in the middle” legit issues should be being passed on to bambu tech with the log file, its the same everywhere, they only have answers for basic or known issues
Ok, so the support replied yesterday. Asked for the video of toolhead when the printer is turning on. I sent it yesterday. Got a reply today, asking for order ID to ship the TH board replacement set.
Yea I think I’m just about at 600hr and holy smokes is my fan getting bad… I still haven’t replaced it. It went from a vacuum cleaner to bad wheel bearing noise. I won’t be able to ignore it for much longer.
It will stop working
Mine already is dead
Waiting for the replacement one
One thing to keep in mind, there are aaa ton of stuff to disconnect for it to be changed
