Multiple height range modifiers on a single object?

Hi hey hello

I’m trying to change the number of walls on a print at the top and bottom of a part, but when I try to add a second height range modifier to a part, it just replaces the first.
I can’t see any way to add a modifier for the bottom of the part and another for the top, am I missing anything? I could do this in Prusaslicer, but it doesn’t seem to work the same way in bambu studio, despite all the menus being pretty much identical.

Can anyone prove me wrong? Please?

I figured it out! For the sake of future googlers, here’s the solution:

Right click your object in the “objects” side of the “process” heading on the left side of Bambu Studio, then select “height range modifier”:

At the bottom of the screen there will be a + & - button pair, click the + sign:

After that, you should see a second modifier in the same place as above:

Why not this way…??

This doesn’t do what I’m looking for, it only adds solid layers to the top and bottom.

A height range modifier lets you change almost any setting for the selected layers. In my case I’m adding walls and narrowing my extrusion width to make the top and bottom of my model look nicer. The middle doesn’t have issues so I leave it as-is

Really useful find, this is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for sharing
