I am super pleased with my X1C - however, I am unable to print multiple medium small objects at the same time - I get a spaghetti failure on one of the objects. Nothing is really obvious on the videos (I need more light). If the objects are really small, I can print a couple at a time.
I expect that when I’m printing small objects, they get placed into the “leveling cell” but larger objects are in separate “cells” and get banged by the print head.
I’ve done the manual leveling procedure and run the leveling during the startup. Am I missing a slicer setting? Having to send multiple parts to the printer as separate print jobs is a PITA.
Suggestions on how to remedy this problem would be very much appreciated.
Do you have an example of what you are trying to do? Maybe a picture of your plate layout? Material type? Basic settings that differ from the default profile for your material and plate?
I have done plenty of full plate prints with small and medium sized parts with very few issues.
Unfortunately I am new to the forum so can’t start a new topic, but this one was related so I thought I’d try here.
Having great success so far with the X1C, but just tried printing multiple objects on one plate, and for some reason, one of them came out with a loss of fidelity on one of the straight edges. I had printed other multiples previously with no issues, and the printer seems fine otherwise.
The green piece is supposed to be a perfect rectangle, but one of the sides is lower than the others by 3-4 mm. I printed another one afterwards on its own and it came out perfectly. Unfortunately, the system isn’t letting me post pics so you can see the issue.
Any ideas on why the green one has an edge that would be missing 3-4 mm of layers on just one side?
