MW Stats: an analytics dashboard for MakerWorld creators (Chrome/Edge/Firefox)

Hey everyone!

I’m one half of Fomio. We’ve been uploading models on MakerWorld for a while, and like a lot of creators I kept wondering things like “which of my tags actually pull weight”, “is this search worth chasing”, or “should I upload this idea at all”. MakerWorld already shows a ton of that data while you browse, it’s just scattered across a dozen pages and gone the moment you close the tab. So I started saving it locally, and that grew into a full extension.

What MW Stats does:

  • Your own models at a glance: downloads, likes, prints, collections, ratings and boosts, with daily history and 7/30-day growth
  • Engagement ratios compared to the market (downloads per like, prints per download, etc.)
  • A live sidebar on every MakerWorld search showing top tags, competing creators and where your own models rank
  • Home feed analysis (For You / Trending / every category) with a tag ranking and “chance” tags (rare but downloaded a lot)
  • Popular-search gap analysis: what people search for that you don’t cover yet
  • Launch Studio: check demand and competition for an idea before you upload it, with suggested tags and title words based on what’s actually working, plus a duplicate check against existing models
  • Optional automation that refreshes your data on a schedule
  • A local long-term database so you can compare this month to last year, with export/import

Tag suggestions are still fairly basic right now, based on demand and competition per term. I’m planning to build that out a lot further. It’s one of the areas I’m most excited about next.

Almost everything stays on your device. There’s one optional, opt-out feature where tag trends get pooled across everyone using the extension, so the trend data isn’t just based on your own browsing. The switch for that is right there in settings, along with a link to what exactly gets shared.

It’s free. Available for Chrome, Edge and Firefox.

Would genuinely love feedback, bug reports, or “I wish it also did X”. This is very much still growing.
