I have bought my A1 and Ams lite recently but when I tried to print in PETG it doesn’t work. It works when printing in PLA,https://public-cdn.bblmw.com/makerworld/trouble/4272243174/20250302/0701-Heatingmalfunctionvideo.mp4 but I have tried PETG CF and PETG translucent it doesn’t work they are all Bambu lab material. what I mean by doesn’t work is when I print a model it just stops halfway saying nozzle heating malfunction and when I pause it and wait for like an hour and try to continue it still says the same thing. I have contacted using support tickets and they tell me to check the connection thingy and when I checked it’s all fine. It works with PLA alright but just not PETG here is a video.
Had something like that happen to me. I had cleared a PLA filament jam and afterwords started getting heating errors with PETG but PLA was still working just fine. Turns out I had forgotten to put the silicon sock back on the print head. Without the sock the print head could maintain enough heat for PLA but not for PETG. Just a thought.
nice ill try later today its just annyoing because If it doesnt work i waste a lot of filament and right now i have sent bambu lab a video and later ill send the logs for them to check. But thanks
If this actually works I think we should report this to bambu lab because right now they do not know what is happening and they think its something to do with the nozzle heating assembly
Dang tried it last night and worked! but it had really bad layer lines, but I sanded it down with sandpaper and it was all good. still not going to use PETG for very detailed prints because of the layer lines anyone have an idea how to solve the layer lines?
