Hello, I was printing a simple piece with Bambu Lab HF PETG an when I came back the printer looked like this. It basically fused the whole hot end together, the grey shoe thing, the nozzle and is also touching the fan. Since this is my first situation like this, I’m not sure what I should do. My guess would be to remove the screws from the gray shoe and then heat it up and see if I can get the blob off somehow. But is it safe to heat it up with the fan blocked? Or do you have a better idea?
Go into settings/maintenance mode…heat just the nozzle to 280*,
let it sit for about 10 min, then start pulling the filament off.
Don’t try removing anything, just try to get the filament of.
Use this guide and go slow.
It is possible you can recover without losing any parts or breaking any wires, but be prepared for the worst.

thanks, I’ll give it a shot. I should’ve found those links, but was searching for the wrong key words.
