My filament not stick on the plate

why my filament won’t stick and keeps breaking? previously there was no problem. my filament has only been used for a week and 3 days I put it in ams p1s then I put it in airtight plastic with silica gel. why now my filament doesn’t stick and breaks easily

Have you cleaned the print plate?

I use alcohol 70% and clean with cloth. I used other filament its find i just find the problem with my white sunlu PLA+. Before i theres no problem this filament.

Then use this glue. Works like magic!!!

In the wiki article I linked…

The reason why we recommend detergent for cleaning the textured plate is due to its textured surface. Alcohol might just spread the oils on the print surface instead of removing it.
Detergent acts as a degreaser and using a sponge or scrubber to wash the plate will ensure the detergent reaches inside the textured surface to clean it and improve adhesion.

Just curious, @xsynatic . Why did you dislike the recommendation for the Bambu Lab glue?

In my case I need to apply it once for the next 20-30 prints. Any filament lays a perfect first layer with no worries about the need to wash the plate.

Every 20-30 prints I wash the plate with soapy water and apply another fine layer of glue. A tube like that lasts for years.

Thank you very much, After the plate is smeared with bamboo lab glue, do we have to wash it with soap every time we print or not? the price is quite expensive, but it can last a long time and can last for years, right?

No need to wash if you print the same material. I usually wash it when I switch from PLA to PETG. Otherwise the glue stays there.
You can add a bit more from time to time.
And, of course, do not touch the build plate with your fingers.

So after we finish printing, we don’t need to clean it with anything? Just leave it as it is even though it’s the result of previous printing and then we continue printing again?

Because in my opinion if you need an adhesion product for basic filament, then you’re doing something wrong.

I get using a glue stick for TPU as it acts as a release agent (tpu sticks very good to the textured pei) but for any basic filament you shouldn’t need a consumable.

Thanks for your explanation. My point is that with a little glue you can do many things wrong and not care. The result is always perfect.
Less need for washing and cleaning is good!
