I wanted to share my experience repairing my new P1S. It started with a nasty extruder clog and ended with me learning a whole lot about my 3D printer. Through trial and error, I learned how to open and unclog the extruder, replace the filament sensor, the hotend, and the front housing assembly. I even learned how to replace the Extruder Connection Board, though happily, that turned out not to be necessary.
I don’t come from the Creality eco-system, where building your machine is part of the ticket to admission. I was nervous about taking the unit apart. However, with help from this awesome community, Reddit, the BL Wiki, BL Tech Support, and YouTube, I learned how to do it. I feel much more confident in addressing any technical issues that may occur down the road. Now back to the fun of printing!
