My only major gripe with the P1P

This printer has been excellent, it’s turned out endless prints without any hassle or fuss, except for one glaring issue.

The LCD display is essentially non-responsive half the time, I don’t care that it’s only a couple of lines, I don’t even care about the input wheel, all of that is perfectly fine.

But I should not have to press the same button multiple times to get it to respond, it seems like an issue where it’s not polling the controller very much, or is getting locked in by other processes. It does need to be faster, all I want is for it to respond on the first time when I press a button. It take twice the number of clicks that should be necessary to get to the menu items I need.

That’s it, that’s my only real complaint. Everything else is wonderful, I love it and would recommend it to anyone looking to get into printing, I would just advise that you will be mashing buttons for a while…

@Sprockett, do you have the camera connected? Sometimes connecting the camera should be the reason for the non-responsive buttons. Have You opened a ticket at Bambu Lab support?
I have never had this issue on my P1P, also not with the camera connected. I don’t get 120 keystrokes per minute but I can control the printer without hassle.

Loosen the two screws located on the backside of the display. The screws are located behind the buttons and are along the edge. Just loosen them a tiny bit.
