A bit OTT there…
Might have been a print that was going over night. Or something else was going on that made him not be able to check on the print through the app…
if it was in lan mode, or the wifi was broke, couldn’t check on phone.
I simply started a print and came back to it maybe, say, half an hour later, and I find it making spaghetti for dinner.
The P1S lost its Wi-Fi while taking the front panel off.
What is the reason you haven’t supplied any photos?
I will get some photos. And also an update. The display’s connection to the AP is so weak that it blacks out when I move the display enough.
Each time I read through this thread, more questions continue to pop up.
- How does one go from this clean bezel:
to this:
What happened to the front bezel?
- How was it possible to rip off the soldered connection? That takes a considerable amount of force.
Well… judging by the amount of damage, it’s a wonder it works at all. This disassembly process took some serious manhandling to accomplish. I am curious if you followed the Wiki videos or tried to go it on your own.
- Last question that was not addressed despite being asked so many times:
- Why was it required to disassemble the Wi-Fi antenna, front bezel and display panel when one was trying to remedy a nozzle issue? You have to be honest with us. This is analogous to someone ripping off their tail bumper of their car to replace the air filter in their engine. Its bewildering why you won’t answer any of these questions. Is it out of embarrassment?
I ordered a brand new front panel. That’s why the front panel is missing.
Still, bad quality out of the box.
Thanks, Bambu Lab. I gave you 600 dollars, and I got a machine, that in the end, was a 25-pound hunk of metal.
Ah yeah. That explains it. I hate it when you order something and the old one disappears. However, I have only found this to work with girlfriends and not 3d printer parts.
People asked multiple times where the old front panel went. Why it was removed, why it’s missing, why you took it off, why it’s not there. I’m not sure how else to phrase this question so it’s answered.
You keep blaming the printer without giving any explanation. I’m sure it did not spontaneously explode off the front.
Answer:
We can all go home fellas this mystery is solved…
I will now leave the old front panel to turn into dust in the sun.
Some brand new parts arrived. I’ve still got more coming though.
Are these haikus? I don’t know how haikus work…
Not on that board, trust me.
Dude, don’t lay this at Bambus feet. Own your screw up and learn from it.
Ask yourself, how many others have had a cluckup like this? How many others have had the front panel and wifi antenna bite it like this?
Really burns my biscuits to have someone have a small issue (adhesion) that they turn into an indictment of the company. Why is it so hard to own your own mistakes?
Oh, I didn’t tighten my lug nuts when I changed the tire, thanks Toyota for selling me junk.
I didn’t put water in the coffee maker, thanks Maxwell House.
I bloodied my nose picking it, thanks God.
Seriously. I mean…seriously.
I think the issue is about as sharp as a freight train. (read between the lines)
May as well go swimming in a bucket than to expect this to go any further. Like shooting whales in a tub.
I feel like I am in the middle of the “who’s on first skit” from Abbot and Costello.
Why did you have to order a new front panel when the product clearly shipped with a perfectly good front panel – and once again – why was it necessary to remove the panel to service the nozzle in the first place?
I have to ask an obvious question here and I’m not trying to be a jerk. Is English your first language? Are you just trying to be a troll? If not, then we can certainly cut you a lot of slack but you started a thread with a whole lot of hyperbole and laying blame on something that now is becoming crystal clear was operator error.
