What’s on first?
There’s a reason that Bambu’s Trustpilot has such pitiful reviews. I will get my P1S repaired and then sell it. The money I get back from selling that printer will be put to buying a Prusa MK4S. End of story.
I’ll give you a few bucks for it.
Why were you running in Ludicrous mode? I’m betting that has a lot to do with what happened. Then you got ham fisted thinking you knew better and ripped the front trying to “repair” it. I guess going in from the top, or lowering the build plate was too easy.
This is, and I say this with 100% confidence, ALL your doing and no fault with the printer at all. Be sure to share that with Support.
That was a print long before the incident happened. What a waste of my time posting here was.
Then why post the pic? We weren’t asking for old pics.
You post several pics of the same print, and I doubt seriously it is the only one using ludicrous.
You still have not explained the front panel. There is no senario that the cover is affected by a print failure. The print head cannot even touch the panel. The antenna is taped with double sided tape to the inside of the panel. You have to pull the panel approx 2inches out to take the slack out. The force required would not be generated by the printhead because it cannot transfer that force.
I’d like you to admit you did this. You won’t, but you should. You caused that havoc, you know you did, we know you did, and I’m certain @Support will know you did.
Have you even looked at the Bambu Trustpilot?

This is moving from funny nonsense into the creepy obsessed domain…
[/quote] Forgive me for calling out someone.
I have and it’s been discussed here.
You guys are hilarious. Like I have never seen such an embodiment of rubber necking on a forum. Not just the rubber necking, but y’all are crossing the police line and starting your own investigations. Poor OP there with whiplash just trying to collect their thoughts still.
Anyway though, I’m invested, so please carry on.
So the pre ‘situation’ photos show a perfectly fine panel. I’m not getting what happened to it.
Not meaning to offend anyone but this seems trollish
Take a picture before turns to dust.
I’m coming from the Prusa community and it’s products. They are well made, like the Bambu, but user error will be user error no matter the manufacturer of the printer. Bambu seems to have made a great printer and the AMS system is leaps and bounds better than what Prusa have done with their few iterations of their MMS.
Also, you will find the Prusa community is great at helping people that actually need it figuring out something. They however do not do well when people just blame the the company for their negligence and flame the brand for no reason.
You already have a great printer. Why sell it losing money and then spend more money for the Prusa where you don’t get anything really better? Give it some time after you get your printer going again before making a hasty decision you might regret. Sometimes we get upset and aren’t thinking clearly.
The grass isn’t always greener…
Clearly this forum is biased towards « Columbo » style detective shows, where you know upfront who, what and how it all happened.
We’ll be stuck in a lull until Columbo forces the killer into admitting his crime… and error.
And with all his “last” questions, that would make Olias our very own Detective Columbo!
(yeah, I’m that old!)
“Just one more thing…”
I truly feel your pain… mine arrived trashed after a 4 month wait !
Olias, then perhaps you can help me. I’ve had my P1S for 3 weeks… I ran out of filament on a print (new user error) ugg… then a clog. I cleaned out the clog. Printed 1 item all good, Ordered a new PLA black from Bambu, boom 2 more clogs (both black PLA from Bambu) I printed a PLA Silk item (without a hiccup) between clog 2 and 3! Does that mean the PLA black I got from bambu is bad? I am very new and don’t want to advertise anything until I get this issue figured out! 0.4 Nozzle that came with the machine, haven’t changed any settings. Of course bambu china is on holiday until the 8th so no help to figure it out…My husband thinks I bought a POS and is breathing down my neck! I have researched all over the place and can’t find an answer why it is doing this. Any idea’s would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advanced.
Also, it never switched to the identical filament backup, when the one ran out. I have that set in the settings but it didn’t work.
I’m sure Olias will help you out (arguably one of the best on the site), but I can say you didn’t buy a POS. Have you only ever used PLA / PLA Silk? If you have used some other filaments like glass or carbon infused then you might need to clean out the nozzle (common source of clogs). You may need to clean it anyhow due to some foreign element that was in your filament.
Running out of filament on a print isn’t really user error, it just happens. The issue is the tape at the end of the bambu rolls. If its on too tight it can stop the feeding in its tracks, if the tape comes off with the end of the line it can clog in the feeder tube.
Give a bit more detailed explanation of the problem if possible. What was the resolution for the clogs you have had? Have you done a cold pull?
Are you using AMS? I suspect yes by another comment you made.
When it ran out of filament, was it a roll from the AMS? A refill perhaps that might have had a little tape residue at the end of the runout roll of filament?
It’s heat creep.
