Ok, not a huge issue but I couldn’t find a report of this (or maybe I missed it).
Here recently one of my X1’s has been purging rather strangely. Instead of the normally compact waste wads, these are all coming up stringy and they can get caught in the chute. Printer still seems to print just fine though. Any ideas on what might cause this?
Happens with different filament and these filaments poop just fine on my other X1.
Does my printer just need more fiber 
been noticing a difference in my poop too! my p1s has the poop sticking to the edge of the poop shoot now which never happened since i bought the printer? wondering if the changed something in the last update?
I noticed this on my A1 Mini a few months back…it was a partial nozzle clog.
now that you mention it i might have the same problem. happened kinda the same time i printed with some pla cf . maybe a peice is stuck inside?
Interesting. I’ll have to look into that. Still, the prints have been fine as far as I can tell so if the nozzle was partially clogged, wouldn’t I see it in the prints?
was watching the nozzle when it did the purging process. the filament didnt drop straight down it squirted out more towards the bed side. even spilling onto it a bit? when i watch the wiki video , its supposed to purge STRAIGHT down?
gonna remove nozzle tomorrow and check for blockage
I looked into my issue when I swapped the nozzle, I noticed the poop difference.
After the print I put the old nozzle back in & set the hotend to 15* higher then my last print & purged it a few times. Purging cleaned out the nozzle & I haven’t had any problems with it since.
Depends on the print.
I was printing something about 5" tall & noticed ridges that looked like under extrusion. My print was also in white, so it really stood out.
I did a quick check with the nozzle needle thing. I don’t print in abrasive stuff or sparkles. Filament seems to come out of the nozzle straight down.

ya mine is purging more towards the plate side? its funny cuz when i watch it i looks like its forcing to purge then boom its starts coming out fast and furious but not straight down.
I have a feeling that either that cheap wood filament i used or the CF filament blocked the nozzle a tiny bit cuz it still prints great except for the purging?
pretty sure i figured out my pooping problem . Tried to clean nozzle but didnt work. must of been a nasty blockage. replace nozzle with a spare i had (thank god for spare parts) and now i poop STRIGHT DOWN !
P.S i replace the heater and sensor at same time!
The blocked nozzle i had , i took a mini torch and heated it up until all kinds of ■■■■ came out . maybe i can reuse this nozzle one day . its a hardened nozzle too
