After couple days using P1S, it stopped long print in the middle. Only way to recover was power cycle.
Small printed were going ok, but bigger one failed again. The printer restart took long time.
After 2 days of troubleshooting I found it is SD card issue
After SD card replacement, all back to normal. Shouldn’t the printer have SD card issue detection procedure. I was about to return it to the shop.
Welcome to the forum.
Good job figuring out your issue. SD card failures do happen and it would be nice as you suggested to have an indication that there are issues with the card.

I watched a few unboxing videos on Youtube and one suggested replacing the SD out of the gate. It was cheap insurance. This isn’t the first issue I have heard that was the fault of the SD card

I’m also wondering if the microUSB card should be replaced with a Sandisk.
Is there a way to copy off the project files that come on the SD card through Bambu Studio?
I just dragged them onto my computer desktop and put them on the new SD card.
