Nasty seam PETG

Any tips on reducing the ringing/extrusion issues along a flat face seam? I can normally hide external seams where a corner is present. But this model is rounded all the way with some internal features (multiple paths inside). Retraction 1.4mm, hotend at 240C, standard speed, extrusion ratio at 0.98. Initially I thought the nozzle might be gumming up. But looking closer, the nozzle stays pretty clean during the whole print.

Maybe I need to do some pressure advance tuning?

So, from what I’ve read, I need to reduce normal printing accelerations. I checked the belt tension and things appear to be taught. Afterall, it is a new P1S. Any suggestions on how much to reduce it by? 25% reduction? 50% reduction?

I have an X1C but the the one thing that stands out to me is your retraction setting. 1.4 sounds like a lot. I usually have it set at .8 Plus that is on the OEM
generic preset.
