Need help identifying the problem

I’m hoping someone can help me identify what may be the problem in this picture. A user is trying to print one of my models but it keeps failing for them. They sent me in a photo and from what I can see it looks like possibly a bed level and adhesion issue. It also looks like they are using an A1.

Welcome to the forum!

Ask them to scrub the build plate with dish soap and water and to dry it with something lint free. Let them know not to touch it in the print area during the process.

In addition to the above about cleaing the plate, the parts on the left also look stringy, so it might be a filament issue too (needs drying). Also, what type of filament is being used and are they using the right settings for it?

All good answers. I also tend to run textured PEI a few degrees C warmer than stock too when running models that might have adhesion issues. And some have mentioned using warmed glue stick or liquid glue as well. Not so much as release agent sometimes but getting the 1st layer to sit well.

So he said he tried cleaning a few times which didn’t help and finally did a factory reset and it started to print normally again for him.

Really good he tried that then. Bizarre but I think it’s been mentioned here before. Congrats on getting it sorted!
