Need to identify print issue

ok, Im baffled… I printed a few pieces of a sword in PLA silk. Ive never had this result so can you all help identify the cause. the hilt prints came out fantastic and were done one after the other. Then I did the two next pieces together and right near the top (I printed vertically) it went bubbly/potholed.

Lots of settings I could list but lets just start with this. ok, now I need help on uploading photos… its jpg and it says, “invalid Access”

I can imagine what you want to put up as a picture.
The problem is usually caused by the print head moving a lot faster on tall pointed objects as the layer time is a lot less. If you slice the model and then look at the speed you will likely see it changing to red ~200mm/s near the top of the model. You can reduce the speed going into the filament settings and increase the minimum layer time. I think the default is around 3 or 4 seconds, you could increase this to say 7 which should allow down the nozzle if the layer is small.
Note, you’ll also have to ensure the “slow down for better layer cooling” box is ticked (in the same part cooling fan setting tab)
