I have a model that I’m applying negative cylinders to that are oriented at angles. It takes a lot of effort to scale and orient them. I would like to be able to copy the cylinder after I get the first one where I want it so i don’t have to go through the process each time. I don’t see how to copy it or is there a better way to handle it that I have not discovered?
Welcome to the forum.
There isn’t a direct way to copy/clone the negative part after you create it that I can find. I thought there might be a work around by cloning the entire object and then moving the negative into your original part and the second object off the plate but it doesn’t work.
Unfortunately the easiest way to clone the cutout cylinder is to do it in CAD before Bambu Studio.
Not sure if that is what you look for, but cant you go to Objects Mode, select your negative object and then ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste. It will paste in exactly the same spot so you have to move it.
Dammit, that is exactly what I was trying to figure out how to do. Well done.
Thank you for your responses. In typical fashion for myself, I stubbled onto this about 5 mins after I posted my question.
Now, if there was a clever why to orient the cylinder perpendicular to an off axis face I could save even for time
Thank You it saving me a lot of time , THANKS !!!
