The specs say 100 ℃ but all reviews I’ve read say max 80 ℃
Can the bed reach 100 ℃ or not, perhaps with updated firmware and slicer?
Also, the category should be renamed to Bambu Lab A1 Series.

I noticed that too, excellent question.
CNC Kitchen review own comment, with his review: “CORRECTION Bambu Lab just told me that they had a mistake in their marketing material and the bed can go up to 100°C!”
Bambu stated that the 80 stated were incorrect
Aurora tech reviewer set to 100 but got only 82-83. May require a firmware change.
Maybe is higher temperature possible also with A1 mini but restricted in firmware?
I believe the temperature cap on the mini is because the bed doesn’t run on mains voltage unlike the big a1 which gets to 100c
That makes sense and sounds about right.
From what I know the Bambu Lab A1 Mini can only reached a Bed Temperature of 80 deg. C. That said, I was able to print and get great success of ABS after much help from Bambu Support Team.
How??? Is there a way to print abs on a1 mini…
Pls tell me
Thanks
Depend on your Bambu Lab printer. If A1 mini, the bed temperature will only reach 80⁰C. ABS requires a bed temperature of 95⁰C.
I went through this with Bambu Lab support center.
So… What’s the process that’s what I want to know
I’ve run my bed at 100° for a few prints. Not a problem at all.
The only minor concern is that when I watched the bed heat up from cold with an infrared camera, the back-right hand corner warmed up first, with the front-left corner taking much longer to get up to temperature.
So for prints that require a higher bed temp I pre-warm it for a while to let it all heat soak. That usually helps give the bed a more even temp all over.
How were you able to get a successful ABS print on the A1 mini? I’ve had nothing but trouble after the first layer.
That’s cool, didn’t know that.
My A1 plate say 100C, but i use my thermomether and olny got 89 in center and 69 at borders, all ABS printies dont fix at plate.
