I just noticed that tonight myself. I’m not sure if I like it yet as I have have two Bambu Lab printers and it only shows one at a time. You have to go in the handy app and switch printers. It is nice if you have one that will be finishing before the other so you can go in a be there when it finishes. Also, I don’t know about all smart watches but it shows on my apple watch as well.

Dang yeah, I have 4 X1C’s and was hoping I could switch easily from the widget or see two widgets but I have 3 jobs running now and it’s just the one, I tried switching in the app to a different printer and the first still persists, that’s disappointing - was there any other steps other than picking it from the top list to see the status you got the widget to change to? I tried watching the camera too and it’s still stuck on the same printer

I had to open the Bambu Handy app on my phone and switch printer views. then then it showed the current printer loaded in the app.
I wish I could have a status widget for each printer. But if I had 4 like you I would probably have to scroll through them. But that would be ok to. lol

I wish they would add an Apple Watch app too

That would have been great.

Right now it isn’t much help if you have to go back and forth.

A button or toggle would make it so much better, or if perfect is the goal, a slider to move between each printer.

You young people with two working eyes, I don’t even have one good eye.

I gave my Apple Watch away to a friend as the screen (the biggest available) was too small.

Ig they’re not for everyone. I always find myself lying in bed wanting to do something with my printer and I’m too lazy to grab my phone as I keep it over on my desk (like 3 steps away) and I wish my Apple Watch could do that.

I can not get this to show on iPhone 16 pro max with current iOS I have looked at most of feedback online and covered all items but still nothing showing up ? Any ideas ?

Try restarting your phone. That usually makes things better. This is how I found this’re feature on my phone, after a restart.

Hi thanks for reply ,I did that and even did a restart clearing all the memory ie vol up vol down and hold power till it restarts…its so weird it don’t work !!

I’ve recently updated my device and noticed that the live view camera isn’t working anymore. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi everyone,

I have a 16 pro max with the latest developer beta and it was working like a charm until today(had to open the app to make it appear but worked) and the last update(2.19.1).

Since then it’s not working anymore even after restart it my phone

Can’t see it either. I’m in Canada; was this released worldwide?

Cycle notifications off then back on, worked for me.

I like it, although it only works for prints launched from the app or Bambu Studio. In prints launched from the printer it does not appear.

I tried today and can’t get it to show me the widget. Toggled notifications off/on. Rebooted phone. Still no love. Any other ideas?

I do see it in the notch, but not as a widget.

In order to show the printer status widget, do the following:

  • Start the Bambu Handy app
  • Navigate to the Device tab
  • Select the specific printer if you have more than one
  • Confirm you can see an active printer

One way to confirm it works

  • Dismiss the screen
  • Activate the display without locking the device
  • You should see the widget displaying the active status of the selected printer

Have you touched the notch? It should activate or start Bambu Handy,

The full view is normally presented on the lock screen like all the live activities widgets.

At least the above is my experience.

Thank you! I see it now. I think my problem was that I was expecting it to be the type of widget where you hold down on the screen, then tap Edit, then Add Widget… something that lives on the screen all the time. Instead, it shows up in the notch. It also shows up on the Lock Screen (but again expected to have to add it there.)
I guess it does mean I need to open Bambu Handy to see it, rather than it simply appearing on the screen all the time. But now that I know what to do I am happy it is there!
