seems weaker than a solid piece?
Doesn’t have to be very strong. Should be able to handle the push force of the AMS, which is limited because the buffer handles this.
Mine has the old style, and the coupler will no longer grasp the PTFE tube… there is no way to get the coupler out of the plastic enclosure. Even if I could, I don’t have a replacement coupler and don’t see a way to buy one either. How do I fix it?

The lifting rail slider has been changed from my H2D to the H2C upgrade kit. I do not know if it makes any difference. I as well do not know if the H2D has changed as well.
I had issues with my eddy sensor of the upgraded H2C tool head. So I had to partly disassemble it bevor the first use -_-
Note: Both are compatible I have used my H2C head with both.
Is the new one plastic? If so, they probably were having issues with too much heat dissipation or something along those lines.
No it is metal as well.
