New firmware update AMS not working orlocking in filament

hello i just downloaded the new firmware and now my AMS is not working for some reason the AMS gear is not holding the filament in it can be easily be pulled out i tried reinstalling previous version 1.09 but still want work normally when i cut on printer its goes through all AMS spools and runs filament up to extruder retracts it back and goes on to the next one and does the same thing but now it doesnt do that after this latest update

I am having the same issue. Now I’m mad! It was working fine. Now my print will load through the cloud, head the hotbed and nozzle, but it never does anything after that. Like the software is stuck and doesn’t recognize that the bed and nozzle reached temp and it can move forward. FRUSTRATING. How do I go back???

I haven’t updated my stuff because i’ll let others go break their things first but if i recall correctly saw some people say that it might be slicer related i.e Update the slicer to the latest version and it should work again?

Similar problem with mine. I have only one spot in the AMS that works and can print. Slot 3 is the only one working.

Whenever I try to print I slice the plate but then I get a PLA error? I can’t print anything after the lastest update.

I also have this bug.
For now I found a way to print even if it’s happened.
What I saw is that the ams unable to load the material.
So what I am doing is to load it manually before printing and than send to print.
I hope it will be fix asap but for now the printer manage to print….

Have you fixed this? Im having the same issue

I had to manually go in on the printer and go back to the previous firmware. I haven’t updated to the latest yet. I’ll stay here until I know the AMS issue has been solved.

I just updated tonight and having the same issue. Looking into how to go back to a previous firmware.

I had the same /similar issue where the error that I was getting was really generic " pull out the filament on the spool holder 07ff-8003 075811( stripped the AMS down twice to confirm that there were no blockages. What I noticed is that the external spool was loaded( when it clearly was not) as I only have the ams. To fix this, I unplugged the AMS( with the power off) and then disconnected the PTF tube. Then I manually fed the filament and tried to print. It complained about something, but I put pressure on the filament to potentially purge any blockage. I printed a bench successfully, and this is the IMPORTANT bit… I then had the X1C do an unload of the filament. Then connected all back up and I was not seeing that the external filament was loaded. Powered off the X1C and connected the AMS and loaded ok and printed after that. I hope this helps someone. The firmware that I am on is ( no surprise) 01.09.00.01. Hopefully this can be resolved by an update.

It just happen to me too. I was hesitant to update to the latest firmware because I heard a few things about it, but it’s been a while so I thought that what ever error it probably should be fixed by now, and if its a bad firmware I thougth i wouldn’t be available to the public, but unfortunately it bricked not one, but two ams, I immediately reversed the firmware of my other machines. But I’m stuck with two machines using external spool, which is annoying. I disassembled the ams looking for debris or anything that could point me in the right direction but I couldn’t find anything, reseted to factory settings, powere cycled, changed ams and still can’t find what is wrong with this. I want to leave them unplugged overnight to see if maybe this fixes the issue. I just want to point out that I also updated bambu studio, and updated the firmware in the same day, so I wonder if this caused all this.
