New firmware

Hi there,

with the new firmware of my P1S there is a new features " total device printing time statistic" but I can’t find into Bambu Studio.
Any suggestion ?

Go to the screen on your P1S and scroll down to the Cog/Wheel (the 3rd option down). Select Device and you will see the printing time

Also the new firmware is supposed to support upgraded P1P. This seems to be limited to selecting a P1S profile without getting warnings.
You still cannot select and upgraded P1P as a P1S in the Devices and so sync the AMS filaments back into BS.

If I understand your question correctly, you can only view the printer usage hours on the machine display, not in Bambu Studio.

Ah ok is on the printer not inside the slicer.

I just discovered that feature yesterday when I connected to the cloud for the first time since going LAN-Only mode for the last 6 months. What I also learned was that this feature appears to only show print hours when connected to the cloud. I say that because my usage displayed was less than 100 hours which is impossible given the amount of spools I’ve consumed alone.

Can anyone corroborate this finding? I rolled back my firmware to 1.04 yesterday after a dismal LAN-only experience and that “Print Hours” feature appears to not be available on a P1P in the rev 1.04 of firmware.

My guess is that they didn’t track printing hours with the previous firmware. This means that the only tabulated number they have available for printing history is prints sent through the cloud. I assume they decided it was better to use this number rather than setting everyone to zero. I also assume going forward the new firmware will log all printing hours correctly if printed through the cloud, lan or from the SD card.

The print hrs feature was a new addition to the firmware update 1.05 for the P series as far as I know.

I have had my P1S since the end of July it has always been connected to the cloud and is showing 372 hrs. So it seems mine has been logged from the beginning but is only now viewable on the latest update.
