We are happy to see a large number of users participating daily in discussions on the Bambu Lab Community Forum, where everyone is welcome to share their opinions, questions and help each other to solve problems and share knowledge between users.
Unfortunately, we have also seen less desirable behaviour from some users that insulted fellow forum members, or started flame discussions.
This behaviour is not acceptable and we would like to remind everyone that the Bambu Lab Community Forum is meant to be a friendly place where everyone can feel welcomed.
Interaction on the forum will be closer moderated to ensure the Forum Rules are followed. Please read the Forum Rules again, and make sure to follow the rules closely.
We would also like to congratulate JonRaymond for being an active member of the community, who will be promoted to Moderator and will assist with the moderation on the forum.
If you are also interested in becoming a Forum Moderator, please leave a comment to introduce yourself and let us know why you would be a good fit.
The most active users with good feedback in the community will have priority
Thank you for your understanding and participation

Excellent choice! But hopefully not the easy way - Not a rook sacrifice to protect the queen. Nor is it the easy way out to clean up what is your responsibility.
You give everything to call the spirits. Hassle-free 3D Printers from $199 can make it ever rawer than 3D printing for everyone. 499 USD for some too much not to take it seriously, for others too little to take it seriously. Hurdle-free Uplode, more than clearly placed.
So you have to show some understanding when you ask for understanding. But where the responsibility lies is then very clear. If that’s clear, everything is fine.
So take care on JonRaymond - otherwise you will lose a lot.
We appreciate the love at the end of the day we’re all here for the love of Bambu Labs printers and to lend a helping hand whenever possible.
I (Cody Martin) am the CEO of ProtoSpyre LLC. I operate daily business interactions with clients but mainly continue our manufacturing and design processes while my partner and team continue flow of everything else. We don’t have a print farm but we continue to grow using Bambu labs printers and other brands as well to achieve our needs.
Jon has always been very generous with his time, both as a maven of information and especially noteworthy in helping complete strangers solve their problems. I can’t think of a better person for the job–he already seemed to be reading everything!
Although I’d love the opportunity to provide moderation within these forums, I do feel it should still be a place to where everyone is able to state their “Friendly” opinion.
Some will go a little further into their opinion of course but there’s a fine line between pushing an opinion and simply stating a users experienced opinion. I find your choice well taken, little have I myself interacted with JonRaymond. But I’m sure he will take the role serious and provide the upmost non bias approach towards moderating the forums.
Key areas are to always maintain facts on all statements. No one likes false information and that’s an issue along all group discussions. I’d love to see more reason behind user issues and statements regarding “DOA” or “Problematic” printer posts as well. We’re all here because we use and purchased a Bambu Labs printer. But we also have to keep in mind that not everyone loves them equally nor do they function the same for every user which should be okay to discuss about.
Congratulations @JonRaymond & @BambuLab for making these moves towards a better online community
I have been providing a community role of sorts since I joined the BL world. I have report a few thousand models and users for breaking the rules that the majority of us agree with.
I am active in the forums including posting and commenting. I have flagged several inappropriate posts for their behaviour towards others and had the indignity of suffering abuse and callous from the less desirable members of this community.
I try to be respectful of others even when they are not being respectful themselves. Including, stepping in a number of times to help those feeling despondent as the acts of others have brought them to consider stopping their love of 3D printers.
I have been critical of BL, particularly customer support. My objective is to improve it as it lets you down. I want your customer support to match the experience of your printers. Too many people say “I love the printers, but, their customer support means I won’t buy another printer.”
My wish is to have people judge you on your printers as everything else is at the level of your printers.
If my involvement can assist that in some small way, I am doing my part to improve things as at that is my objective.
A great addition to the team, and it is good to see the recognition of merit.
Congrats @JonRaymond! You deserve it.
It is a pity to read some discussion that went wrong at some point.
I believe that different opinions and constructive criticism are expected and acceptable. Still, there is a need to moderate when the discussion goes personal, with destructive comments and even insulting. It is unpleasant for the involved users, those following the topic, and those reading it later.
Glad to hear about the new rules. In general I have a great time here with folks helping me out or answering questions, and want everyone else to have the same experience.
