Can’t find the settings the new Petg hf on the slicer for the new filament. Found a profile in Bambu hand but not on the slicer. So tried an old print from my phone using handy. It fails to slice I tried about ten prints nothing would print. A1 ams running a single… I mostly print to Prints this speed thing up there large prints. This was printed using Esun petg HS using bamus petg profile took forever.
Notification and distribution of the new configuration update seems to be taking place, but slowly. Meanwhile, you can just modify the old preset and save it as a user profile. These are the only changes:
There is a update now for the printers that will update the RFID readings for PETGHF spools and profiles are in Bambu Studio.
I am trying a roll of PETG HF now… Not sure how Bambu got a 50% speed increase!!?
Their demo print on their filament page went from Bambu Basic PETG 4:52 to PETG-HF 2:45.
My own model, Bambu Basic PETG 4:46 went to PETG-HF 4:13.
Not really much speed increase. Using the Standard PETG Basic and PETGHF profiles.
Yes, the PROCESS profiles are still the same - they need to add ‘HF’ process profiles, or else we’ll all just be trial and erroring and or everyone will think it’s a scam when we just need some settings.
There already is a PETG-HF profile. Printer will need a update to be able to read the rfid from the new spools.
The PETG HF profiles are already available in Bambu Studio
If they don’t show up, please enable them in the System Filaments section, while also ensuring you are running the latest Studio version.
NO PROFILES
I am on the latest version of Studio (1.9.3.50) and there is no profile for PETG HF
When the AMS does read it it blinks PETG and then reverts back to a “?” mark.
I also have the problem with the PETG-HF.
I’ve already searched for updates in Bambu Studio and have “latest version” ver. 1.9.3.50. What else can I do?
Yes it finally updated but I’m not seeing a speed difference at all. I read somewhere else that the settings are pretty much still the same and can be tweaked.
If you still don’t have Bambu PETG HF profiles, please follow these steps:
- Restart Bambu Studio after you ensure you are running the latest version
- Wait a few seconds until the Configuration can update now shows up, then click on Detail and update it.
- Follow the steps below to enable PETG HF
The main difference is the flow rate - you’d 100% see a difference if toggling between BBL PETG Basic and HF and slicing to see the time.
I do not have the Bambu PETG HF option to click in that tab. And I am already on the latest Version of the program.
Reinstalled the slicer already and restarted mutliple times, no change.
After you start the program, you will receive a notification in the bottom right side of the interface, to update the configuration.
Please click on it, then confirm the update. The new profile will be downloaded and you will be able to enable it as shown in the screenshot.
The computer needs to be connected to Wi-Fi / Internet when this is done, so it can update the configuration files.
Just FYI, when I received the update configuration notice in studio and selected it. The popup window only mentions something about updating ABS. However, after clicking ok, I then had PETG HF as a selectable option.
