Using either the current app (preferably), or a new one, have the ability to submit a print request with a file for up to 2 printers and allow multiple (4?) users to submit to the queue (the Lite version). It is OK for just one person to be able to be the ‘queue master’ to manage the queue and set priorities. Allow 16 or more ‘slots’ in the queue for waiting prints. Having say 32 or 64 ‘available for reprint’ or putting it back in the queue with multiple copies desired would be great too.
This is for small company or family use, not for ‘print farm’ or large scale use, in my opinion.
I have wanted this capability for me and my family (2 adults and a couple of kids) for some time.
I wish there was some queueing. So I can easily tell someone to change the plate. and press a button that is auto start the next in the queue. Maybe it is waiting. maybe it is added latter.
In an ideal implementation I want a timeline view of the queue. so I can optimize when it is expected to be done and needs changing.
Thanks for the idea, but for one printer at home, running another system as a server for 2 to 4 people seems a bit overkill.
The Ultimaker cloud (that was my previous printer) had a queueing function that did not require a separate server and client service.
Personally i would prefer to use something like Octoprint on a raspberry Pi but Bambu closed system makes rven hooking into an API next to impossible.
Given the Bambu closed drama, i am surprised someone hasn’t come up with a Bambu compatible controller board that is plug compatible with open software on it.
When I get a chance to set up Bambuddy. I have not found a good video of how it works. Not meaning a setup video. But if I have a clue what it is doing I know what I needs. One problem with videos like this is they are often out of date. The main concern I have is what does “developer mode” really mean. I rarely use camera when I am not at the same network. But sometimes. I know there are work arounds for remote viewing.

I have a raspberry pi running home assistant, with very mild load. Does anybody know if it is possible to load it onto the same Pi? not a deal breaker, either way. So far I have only used the Pi to be fully dedicated. Would be more stable, and not cost that much more in power. I assume there are printable cases for multiple R Pi’s
