New setup for three printers

Everyone, meet Tai Lung (H2D), Master Shifu (A1M), and Po, the Legendary Warrior (P1S).

I’ve just moved, and I’m setting up my printers in my home office. I’ve got this double tiered dresser that I was going to use as a stand. I think I’m gonna chop the upper tier off though to put everyone on the same level.

Also, to reduce the effort needed to reach behind the printers to change filaments (tpu in the case of the H2D), clean out poop chute, address filer and vent situations, I’ve put the whole thing on wheels. I also have two cement pavers to put in the bottom of the dresser to lower the CG.

I also have a shelving system that will house the ams for each printer, and maybe hold a few more odds and ends, or maybe just some decorations.

Can anyone provide some feedback on the setup? Am I missing something, or getting something wrong? I’d love to discuss this to see what I can learn! Thanks!

This setup is not space efficient at all. The a1 mini goes inside of the H2D.

All seriousness, the best setup is the one that works for you. Personally, I would go to Ikea and find another table for it.

Hahaha. I did find that I can stack all three of these printers. The P1S fits on top the H2D, and the a1mini fits on top the P1S.

I would love to get another table for it. I’m currently on a somewhat tight budget. But it might yet be in the cards. I’ll keep it in mind.

Found my solution. A larger workbench. I needed to clear out the space in my shed anyway.

And it is on wheels so you have easy access to behind the printers if you need it.

(I think I need a setup like this!)
