New studio changes for the AMS - No X1 support?

Hi,

Edit filament information during printing : P-series and A-series printers now support editing filament information during printing, even for filaments not currently in use or in ‘Auto-Fill’ mode. This includes both external spool slots and AMS slots. Users can replace an empty spool before it’s fully consumed, and the new spool will automatically continue the current print**.(Supported P-series firmware version:01.07.00.00,supported A-series firmware version:01.04.00.00)**

It’ll be a bit disappointing if it’s the case the X series is not supported with this, it’s weird omission - any idea why?

The most probably reason might be that the X series already has this feature and it has now just been added on the lower models.

None of my X1Cs have ever supported it on any firmware version, both on the printer itself and Studio

Which is why it’s so weird that it’s the only one not supported

Yes, I just came here to post this!

Why not on the X1C?

Sometimes I starts a print and then realize the current spool might not make it, and there is no backup spool loaded. To be able to just load a backup spool in while it’s printing would be so useful!

At least I’m not the only one trying to figure out why this change was implemented on the A and P series and not the X1C
