I changed filament trying to print it shows it printing support but still printing same color.
I know rebooting and resetting factory does not change a thing when it comes to using supports. I have printed several but it just ends up printing the same filament for support.
I am going down for a while and I am going to shut everything down do a factory reset make sure all filaments are loaded start the machine 1 at a time and reload a print with supports.
Do you think I need to reinstall the ORCA and Bambu Slicer?
Every time I do that it only will allow the support to print not any other filament
What do you mean, are you saying that then the entire print is in support filament?
Yes. It also means I can not select the filament I want to use for the model It gives an error code that the filament needs to match and will not let you select any other in the print mode. However it shows it in the slicer that everything is there. This is not on any specific model but all models that need support
In this screenshot, you have the pink PLA selected as the support interface and not the “support for pla”, try changing that first.
No, in this photo he has default for interface, and the pink for base for some reason.
Ruby_in_Wyoming is correct, the issue is that you are trying to select support material but you do not have it selected for the support. Having it as default means that it will use whatever filament it has in the nozzle, not that it will use the support filament. Also using pink for base is a bad idea as you are just wasting filament for no reason.
Yes was exterminating to see if I could get it to print in reverse since having it correct only prints support material
Can you show a screenshot of the slicer where it only prints support material.
Yes as soon as I get back up. I shut everything down doing a full factory reset and have reinstalled the slicers. I will try again. Hopefully what ever maybe wrong will clear itself. I have double checked all firmware software updates and now going through the process of factory reset.
Hi ! I had the same problem because I had only one filament int the “Filament” properties. Once the “PLA Sup” is added (using the + button), it’s available in the dropdown.
