the new noise update is very nice but now I want the same for the Fan. Is there a way to make this more silent? Other Fan for the Nozzle?
There is a way to change the chamber and aux fan speed in the filament settings tab under advanced. There you can change the settings for chamber and aux fans. However, I am not sure which values are which and what number correlates to the % fan speed.
When printing PLA on cold plate or with door/lid open, Chamber fan can be off. For many models the Aux fan can be set very low (in fact some massive models can warp unless you slow it down) and if you need it, 60-70% speed is likely enough and that is pretty quiet. I don’t “dare” lowering the part fan as it might be bad for print quality.
After I got ANC for my X1C I realized I wanted to quiet the MB fan (that we can’t control) so I ordered a Noctua fan (just search this forum for Noctua). Hopefully it’s delivered tomorrow.
