New US order shipping from China?

I ordered the laser upgrade on 23 August, and got the usual shipping notification the next day. However this time the package is shown “in transit”, the shipper is “YunExpress”, and the destination field says only “US”, with no further information.

I hope they’re not shipping directly from China in the current absurd tariff situation. Has anyone else had this experience? How did it resolve?

The laser is shipped from China, just as it is when you purchase the H2D laser.

Thanks. I bought my H2D sans laser. Is there a general estimate on how long the China-originating shipment takes?

I’m not sure about the shipping time, as I didn’t receive my tracking number until the package had already arrived at the border.

We are still waiting on our AMS shipped through YunExpress, tracking shows it has been in our home state of Michigan for 3 days bouncing around. Would have been better off attaching the package to a snail.

Just as follow-up (I was OP on this thread); Two days after I posted, I got notification that the package had been transferred to UPS (presumably from Yun Express) at a location given as LAX. I assume they’re using themselves as shipping agent, and that the goods had been in a depot in Los Angeles. It was delivered at normal UPS speed in about four days.

Just ordered 2 spools of filament refills, and they usually come from Houston. I was surprised they’re coming from overseas. I figured if they didn’t have it in the US they would list it as “Out of Stock”. Oh well, from now on I’ll order well before I run out of a color.
