New user - need diagnosis help - under extrusion or xy problem?

So I printed with PLA and got some decent prints of my model. The then did a bunch of printing in TPU. Now coming back to the same print in PLA and it printing it badly and I can figure out the reason.

I’ve tried unclogging it. I’ve turned it off and on again. I’ve recalibrated it. I’ve swapped the hot end, and I’ve tried some other Bambu PLA. And it looks the same each time.

I’m new to 3D printing so I can’t tell the issue from the printing error. I’ve had this printer for about a week now. I’ve tried printing other models too and they have similar issues at the seam and when making sharp turns.

I’m using default Bambu PLA settings and Bambu Basic PLA.

Any ideas would be greatly appeciated. Thank you in advance!

Nozzle/Hotend Unclogging Procedure for X1

I used to have similar issues with my Ender 3 when switching from PETG back to PLA. The printable temperature range of the materials was so different that any residue of the PETG still in the nozzle would cause under-extrusion issues - like in your right-hand result.

So I did a factory reset and it seemed to have solved the problem.

Yes I did. No change. I’ve done a factory reset and that fixed it which doesn’t really help me figure out what went wrong. But at least it works now. Thanks for the advice though!
