New version of Bambu studio not working - V02.00.02.57

I am getting the error IsWow64Process2 could not be located in the dynamic link library BambuStudio.dll. I have just installed the latest version V02.00.02.57

I have windows 10.

Any solutions ? thanks in advance

Open a Command Prompt as Administrator. (It’s under Windows Tools)
Enter sfc /scannow
Let the scan run to see if there’s a system files problem. It will also try to fix any errors it finds.
Type Exit when the scan finishes.

I looked for that file on my Windows 11 system but couldn’t find it. Are you sure the file is not “SysWoW…”

Thanks I will try.
The file which i mentioned is correct. Re installing the older version works well

Forgot to mention, I’m running that version of Studio, so I know it works.

So who was it that created the new software, and broke something that worked? " When you type bambu studio not working in Google, you get this:": It seems like version 2.00.02.57 of Bambu Studio does not allow disabling the AMS (Automatic Material System) and printing directly from an external spool. Some users have reported this limitation, suggesting that the software requires the AMS to be connected and enabled for printing to proceed. If you need to print without using the AMS, you might need to explore alternative methods, potentially including updating the software or using a different slicer… Yoi\ou think they may want to fix this?

I happen to be printing from an external spool right now. Did I mention I have four AMS units connected, and none is disabled or disconnected. I just selected the external spool and sent the print.

Here’s what I see for status.

Sorry,
I should have mentioned this is on an A1.
The previous version gave you the option of choosing “advanced”, then you would have to check to turn off AMS lite, which only then gave you the option of using external spool. otherwise there is no choice for external spool choice. Google “bambu studio V02.00.02.57 no ability to use exterior spool a1”, and you will get "The issue is likely a bug in Bambu Studio v02.00.02.57 preventing the ability to select and use external spools on the A1 printer. A potential workaround or fix would involve either downgrading the firmware to a previous version or using Bambu Connect. ". I should have clarified it is the A1 or A1 mini issue.

Mine is currently busy, using the ams , do you have a screenshot / image ?

without ams

it does appear that they may of got rid of the need for an optional advanced tab
print will be finished shortly so i will have a better view
in the mean time …

@Vincent228 We hope this helps

I apologize, but I am not home, so I am doing this remotely. I know they TPU on the exterior holder is there, because i physically loaded it before leaving this morning. I have reloaded V02.00.02.57. These are the screenshots 1 at a time to show, i am not crazy. It does not allow me to access the external spool, and you can see the 5 colors loaded (4 on the ams lite, and 1 on external spool). you can see “send” is completely greyed out. and it shows nothing on the external roll. so basically, just as others have written, the newest studio is faulty for the A1. some suggested to unplug the AMS, which is completely foolish, since the prior version worked just fine, and there is no one home to rundown into the basement to unplug the ams.

And to prove the final point. I loaded the prior version (20150). you can see by the screenshots, everything works fine. If i want to print with external spool, I hit “advanced”, turn “off” AMS, and then the external spool is accessible in the menu, and so is “send”. Voila. everything is fine, and 2.57 is faulty at least for those that have A1’s in my case.
