I made a tool (sorry - windows only) to automate the config file edit.
It’s not letting me post a link but search bambu-plate-re-enabler on github.
Don’t really need a tool for that 
it’s very easy to do, only takes a single step, you can of course create a bash script to do it, but it’s not something that warrants it in my opinion

You might not need a tool, but a lot of people aren’t comfortable fiddling with config files.
I really made it for myself as I was tired of re-doing the fix every update. So if no one uses it, that’s fine. Just thought i’d share it in case someone finds it helpful.
