New X series on horizon?

Question for those “in the know”.

Is there a new X series expected that will have the induction nozzles, and the multiple nozzle exchanging feature of the H2C?

If you haven’t learned yet, Bambu has already launched the second gen X series, with the X2D

Everyone hopes and expects the X2C-like model to be launched before the end of the year.

However, besides what the X2D came out with, what the next one in the X series will come out with, your guess is as good as any other.

Actually, based on recent, unconfirmed, and speculated information as of April/May 2026, the Bambu Lab X2C is expected to replace the X1 Carbon as a flagship desktop model.

It is rumored to feature a 256³ mm build volume, the advanced Vortek dual-nozzle system, a heated chamber, and a price point around $1,000–$1,250.

Key Rumored Features (Based on Leaks/Speculation):

  • Vortek System: Incorporates the fast, dual-nozzle swapping technology from the H2 series.

  • Performance: Designed for high-speed printing and improved handling of complex, multi-material, or flexible prints (e.g., PLA+TPU).

couldn’t find some later videos on the topic of X2C (obviously, not of this guy) I’ve stumbled upon a couple of weeks ago , discussing (quite at length) the possibility of Bambu launching the X2C and what would its features might be. If I’m locating them again, will share them here.

What is the speculation on how many nozzles that the vortex would have?

yeah i’m pretty sure an x2c will come, my guess is that it will be a 4 nozzle vortek, we’ll see later in the year

on 256 mm cubic? I have some doubts that it will happen….not saying that you’re wrong in your assumption, just that if that will happen, it won’t be 256mm, but much less.

yeah, single nozzle though, not dual, the smaller vortek rack can be made to fit on the x2d body without reducing the build size, there’s enough space, then an AMS with 4 exits and a buffer on the printer (kind of like the fast track one)

this is just an assumption of course, but it would fit nicely on the lineup, and compete directly (and most likely surpass) the snapmaker U1, by having fast nozzle swaps and maintaining the AMS

I have my doubts too - either they shrink the bed by 20mm meaning entirely new tooling and a step backwards - or they rip out the fresh air & filtering AUX assembly on the RHS.

All to deliver a machine with woeful filament change performance relative to a toolchanger.

I don’t see it happening.

I imagine new printer with a dedicated left head for supports only (dual induction) and a right head for structural (dual dual induction) + Vortek system. A mix between the X2D and H2C, but with 2 heads or 1 triple nozzle toolhead.

Not just dual extrusion — a real dual independent smart toolhead system where:

1 toolhead handles supports only

1 toolhead handles structural material

different nozzle sizes run print or maybe a autonomous nozzle that can change diameter from 0.2 to 0.8mm

Maybe another idea what its 1 toolhead but triple nozzle: 1 independant route for support, 2 induction working with vortek system. that way we have pretty much no way between nozzle change if they are all induction.

Maybe a 5 axis printer or a larger print volume is always welcome, bambu seems to love All in 1 multipurpose printer when i saw the h2c i knew they would make a mini h2d it was obvious af and now that x2d have 1 nozzle for structure and 1 for support is a proof that next step may bring 3 nozzle toolhead but this is just in my head so far lol

X2Dは造形サイズが小さいのであまり魅力がないです。
他社製品に負けていると思います。
TPUも普通に使えてVortekシステムを導入してもっと大きなビルドプレートサイズで作ってほしい。
