I linked my X1E to the cloud and updated it’s firmware today and already I’m regretting it. Now the interior fan comes on and off every few seconds while the printer is idle and no one is connected. I wonder what else I’ll get to discover.
I’ve not figured out if they’ve fixed the FTP issue everyone is having with some 3mf files.
We have a customer with the same issue. I hope, that Bambu Lab fix this as fast as possible.

I have this same fan issue with me X1E
Strange behavior after a firmware change can often be fixed by restoring factory settings.
If that does not help, use Handy to downgrade the firmware to the previous version.

I just factory reset my X1E after this firmware update, and the fan issue remains. It runs every 15-30 seconds or so in short pulses when the printer is idle.
The new firmware (01.01.00.04) supposedly fixes this problem:
Bug Fix
Fixed intermittent faulty fan control that may cause the chamber cooling fan to activate when the printer is idling.
Can anybody confirm that the problem is gone after installing the latest firmware?
I’m not sure it’s fixed. Mine seems to still be coming on and off regularly. I updated a couple of days ago.
Thank you for your reply.
For my X1E, the new firmware makes no difference either.
Same issue before and after the fw update
I just installed the latest X1E firmware (version 01.01.02.00) and this version fixes the problem: the fan is not turning on and off any more while the printer is idle.
FTP issue? I yesterday got stuck while trying to print something. Turns out, the model I created just didn’t want to be placed in the bed center. Once I moved it in BambuStudio FTP worked again
