New X2D not letting filament past buffer

I bought a brand new X2D and so far, I have been unable to get it to feed into the left nozzle. Every time it hits the beginning of the left buffer and stops. Feeds into the right buffer just fine. I took the buffer apart and checked, and the magnet for the left buffer, it is oriented the same way as a magnet for the right buffer, with the slant facing the incoming filament. If I manually feed filament through the buffer, it goes in just fine. I have tried it with two different AMS and with the AMSHT and get the same result. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Contact Bambu support. Could be an issue with the control board perhaps.

Be sure the PFTE tube is fully inserted.

i think i have the same issue. the side PLA will not feed. Actually, i am unable to pull the PLA out even depressing the set ring.

If you can help, I am willing to discuss this on the phone?

Have you tried cutting the end of the filament at a really pointy end? Used to work for me.

I had this issue and used the Makerworld fix below. Has been working for me.

To extract the filament you may need to press the black button on the AMS buffer and then try drawing it out. Look at the end of the filament. If it is chewed up you may need to dismantle and clean out ant filament debris in that buffer.

The root cause is said to be that the internal spring in the AMS buffer is too stiff. This device takes some of the load off the spring.
