Hi All, new user to Bambu here. I have an H2S and an XC1. I am trying to print ornaments and wondering if the process I am doing can be sped up. Right now, I have a ~4.25" round ornament with 5 colors that is expected to take 4 hours to print. I know color changes take a good chunk of that but is there something I can do to improve the process and make it quicker then 4 hours? Open to all suggestions !
Here’s a screen shot of it. I would like each color embossed (some to different heights) as shown. It’s an SVG, thickest part of the design is about .18mm. Let me know what else you’re looking for. Thanks for the quick reply!
Thanks, I was trying to only color the top of the design but it didnt go as planned as it was still printing each shape all the way through the design just in one color. How would i go about only doing the top few layers? Create a base outline of the ornament and make the top all the colors and design, just really thin?
Thank you, that is what I did and after slicing it is still 4 hours. Is there a way to get the color part of the design to sit on top of the .125 base? When I try to move it up, it gets sucked right down to the plate.
You need to select all items and click “assemble/merge” to make them into one single assembly. Then you can move each item (from the object tab) relative to each other and they will stay where you put them.
