Next Generation Bambu Printer

i wonder if like me you thought there would be some news about Bambu labs next gen printer? i really would love to see a bigger build volume for the X2 Carbon pr P2P , is there any news if this is in the works? looks like ill need to get the k1 Max once its released if i want a super fast printer fully enclosed. My P1P with its arc enclosure is a really nice machine but that 300x300 build volume would make it the No1 3D printer on market. I have had a great experience with my K1 and cant fault it so hopefully the Max will be as good or better. Come on Bambu , get your design team on overtime and give us Generation 2 Machines and make sure they have LAN port because your Wi-Fi sucks lol

First generation hasn’t been in production a year yet and you are already demanding gen 2?

Maybe stick with the K1 if they are that good, I have seen enough bad reviews to know where my money is better spent

When a company puts their current product line on sale it’s a good sign next gen is in the works,
and close to being released, even better and more advanced yet.

Hahahahaha K1

Its Creality  Every printer from them don’t work out of the box. You always have to tinkering on these machines - always!

But hey, buy the K1 and spent the ā€œsavedā€ money for new parts

If I look back, my CR10S Pro cost me with all the modifications more than the X1 over the time - and doesn’t print as good as the X1. Okay, I learned a lot, but I’m not willing to spend any more money in a unfinished printer aka Creality products.

First printer we got was an Ender 3 S1 Pro. Worked great out of the box, after assembly of the parts. No ā€˜tinkering’ needed.

I have had a Creality ender 3 for years and it’s worked fine from day 1. The K1 in the 6 weeks I’ve had it is working fantastic, I’ve not had to do anything to it apart from add the fantastic lid riser on printable to give a little more room for dragchain, as for my request for next gen printer the chairman in his anniversary post admits they are only 55/100 percent happy with current printers so that is a massive reason to release a better version, and not everyone has had error free printing with bambu machines, go watch 3D muskateer on YouTube

I hope the next printer is something larger too. 350x350x350 or larger. XL1C
Id also love to see a Bambu Solution for Automatic Bed swapping for existing X1 and P1p machines. a robot arm with bed sheet reloader and new software to hande it

I’d second the request for a larger print bed (350x350x400 or 400x400x500), and multiple tool heads for faster multi-color prints and ability to use multiple materials that require different hotend temperatures.

Eliminate the requirement to send prints from a PC through the cloud to the printer, and allow sending directly from BambuSlicer to the printer via local network.

It would also be great if someone picked up and brought to the market the filament color mixing solution attempted by RoVa4D back in 2016

350 cube is exactly what I need, I have an SV06 Plus currently covering that role, but I need to shave a couple of mm off a particular part to provide for the support footprint it needs. Bed changer would be amazing for print farm use

I needed a bigger build plate so I got the K1 max (I couldnt wait for Bambu anylonger), I had a friends K1 and had a idea what the Max was going to be like but I still got it anyway and yep its just a big build plate let down, I may root it to get full control of Klipper since it is a promising machine. SMH I knew what the Max was going to be and I still slammed my d$@# in the door anyway

A 400 x 400 x 500 would be Great for mechanical parts for cars, bikes, robots, computers, etc, I’ve had a Anycubic Chiron for 4 years and this is exactly what I’ve been using it for sadly its outdated and an X1C looks to be the best printer on the market for my needs (printing carbon fibre nylon), the build area is just to small to justify the upgrade.

I agree, offering a larger volume printer would be really helpful. There are 2 options. Option1 is to just enhance the z axis which would give us something like 256x256* 500 but would not solve many of the prints we need. Best would be a model of 400x400x500 as Gov is writing. And yes, i guess we all now, with the bigger rails and mechanical parts, the printer would become potentially a bit slower?

So far the Bambu System is the best on the market (and I own anycubic, elegoo, creality printers and a mosaic palette aswell) and the system from bamu is the most advanced one.

Only option on the market would be the prusa XL. The caviat here is the print speed being at the same rate, as outdated printerns.

If Bambu is able to come up with a larger printer soon, I truly would through out all the other stuff and become a 100% bambu shop customer

What I really miss at the moment is nothing on hardware, itā€˜s more in the workflow: I would like to be able to print directly from the CAD-Software. Iā€˜m a hobbiest and when create a new object I do often print samples to check measurements, redesign the model and print again. Iā€˜m working with OnShape, but itā€˜s the same with Fusion, OpenScad… You have to export the model load in Slicer and print. I would like to have the Slicer as printer driver, make my settings for the current model and then in the CAD software press print… and print… and print as often as I need as often I want. Thatā€˜s what Iā€˜m really missing. :slightly_smiling_face:

The shipping cost will be over the roof for a 400x400 or 500x500
They’ll probably have to ship LTL and the delivery driver would need to use a pallet jack or forklift to deliver

I am also saving our turnover for the next BambuLabs printer expecting that it will have a larger built volume.
I had the FlashForge Creator 3v2 mainly because of the built volume.
Something around 40x40x40 would be awesome!!!

just imagine a p1s double the size, with a more powerfull cpu, with touchscree, with a real 60 fps cam, leds on each side, dual extruder and a ams with a built in heater with up to 5 or 6 rolls…:D:D:D man im dreaming…

I’d now definitely be in the market for something with a larger build volume - ideally 330mm by 330mm, with no area of that ā€œreservedā€ for things like purge lines or calibration prints.

But I also want better file handing on the SD card as a minimum; sticking everything in the root directory means finding the right print is a PITA sometimes (why not offer folder support? It cannot be that tricky). Bonus points if there is some way to display which build plate is required; I use three different types regularly, and discovering 5 minutes into a print that I have the wrong one in the machine is another pain point.

I have the money in my account waiting for the right machine …

Hoping for something between 350 and 400 cubed with a 6 spool AMS that is interchangeable with the Gen 1 AMS

I am getting ready to buy my first Bambu P1S printer but I am seeing comments of a larger printer coming. There is a great sale going now with the printers but I do not want to spend my money on this one if a lager one is coming out. Are there any updates or pricing on this larger printer? Thanks
