I would try and hold on to see what the new printer offers from bambu . If Dr. Tao is telling the truth then it will offer just as big of a jump forward to hobby 3d printing as the release of the x1c . , personally finding it hard to believe it will be that good . But Iam it it is ,I will certainly add one to my collection of machines .

I wish they would allow us the ability to upgrade X1C to the X1E for chamber heat control and >300c nozzle temp, among others. It canāt be all that difficult; 2 additional boards, the heater unit, Extruder PID and some adapted firmware. A lot of us would go that route should they allow it.
I donāt think they would give up profit over $1000 for parts that cost about $400
Could you maybe just contact an authorized reseller of the X1E and say you need those parts.
RJ45 isnāt important to me, but swapping certain pcs and getting access to the X1E firmware or determining the particular chip that is the gateway to permissions for upgrades. Last option could be just
jail breaking. ah hmm. I mean utilizing backward updates to add xX1+.
