My H2C arrived defective, and I’ve been trying to get a replacement for about nine months. Support repeatedly sends the same few questions/emails rather than resolving the case.
I loved my P1S, but this H2C has left me roughly $4,000 out of pocket with no working machine. If anyone from Bambu Lab can help escalate this, my ticket number is US260804765004.
I can provide the original order details, photos/video of the defect, and the full support thread.
Hang in there. I think I’m on month 5(I will check later) and just got to the point where I have received all return packaging materials and just need to drop it off somewhere. I had to give alot of pushback in month 3, I replaced the camera, main board, ap board twice and cables…before they would start talking about a replacement. Packing it back up was the hardest part. Its like putting a puzzle together
After more than 4 months and hundreds of hours of troubleshooting (on my part, not Bambu Lab’s), I received a new printer. I had to repackage the old printer three times.
Unfortunately, the new one is also causing some problems. The H2* toolheads aren’t designed to be easy to repair (at least not for every consumer), which makes the concept of self-repair by customers obsolete. So, my H2C is a fantastic printer—when it works. In any case, I’ll refuse to perform complicated repairs on the print head in the future. That’s not my job.
Almost every payment service provider - from PayPal to Visa to Mastercard - offers a dispute resolution process. Both sides are asked to submit the relevant documentation, which usually helps move things along more quickly. It also adds a helpful layer of neutrality, since an independent third party steps in to review both: expectations and whatever might be going wrong.
In most cases, a solution is reached within about a month - that’s typically the maximum timeframe.
That doesn’t mean the situation will escalate or that you’ll immediately get your money back; it’s simply a preliminary step where both sides are asked to share their perspective. It’s a tool that surprisingly few people seem to use, judging by the posts here describing delays that stretch over several months.
Of course, there are cases where payment service providers may decline a dispute if the responsibility clearly lies elsewhere, but in general, it helps tremendously.
