No Credit $80 or $120 if we return to Microcenter, USA?

This is really lousy. If you are like me who had bought one A1 printer from Microcenter and One from the Bambu lab online US store you get just one email.

If you choose your decision after entering the serial number, you cannot use the link a second time. Ok, I get that for spam prevention or whatever reason, but then where is the second email for users with more than one A1 printer??

I went all the way up to Microcenter and yes, got a full refund ($602.00) , no questions asked, but no $80 store coupon or online Bambulab coupon, nothing. Tough luck.

No options for multiple A1 owners and no store credit or nothing for store buyers. Well played I’d say!!!

Burn Gas - 60 miles back and forth - and 2 hours time for buying a crappy printer or maybe trusting the brilliant people who made the printer a bit too much.

The online form had the option to add more than one serial number. I entered both of my A1s with the replacement heatbed option. I bought my first one (no AMS) from their TikTok shop and the second one (w AMS) from Micro Center. I entered both serial numbers at once and submitted. I received and update the next day acknowledging that I would receive replacement heatbeds and credits.

Good to know . I think I missed that. Sucks. So to be clear, users who want to RETURN one and keep one cannot do so. I returned one already, want to keep one and opted for the heatbed replacement option.

Thanks for responding tho. Happy printing.

Note: the new firmware update to A1 now has a warning on boot to turn off and not use the printer.

Yea I think you are correct; it was one or the other. Personally, I think it’s been exaggerated a bit and I’ve kept both of mine printing almost non stop since the original “callback”. I guess time will tell.

My ticket for option 1 was created last Sunday, yet I’m still awaiting from Bambu Lab regarding the next steps, such as instructions on how and when to return the printer. Has anyone else who opted for option 1 received any communication from Bambu or already returned their printer?

I took my printer back at 11am Sunday Morning. MC Columbus told me to fly a kite. Since then, MC has gotten instructions on how to handle these returns and get you your $80. I went back last night and got a refund for $86.

This morning, I received an email from MicroCenter containing details for the recall. They are offering both the $80 and $120 credits in the form of MicroCenter gift cards “to apply toward any Bambu Lab products”. For those who want to go with Option 2 (heatbed replacement), they have a registration page.
